Orthodontists have their general dentistry degree and an additional 3 years of specialized training in orthodontics.  Our Certified Orthodontic Specialists are experts at moving teeth, helping jaws develop properly and presenting a plan that will give you a great smile and a functional bite.  Tooth position is changed by orthodontics and sometimes the structure of the face is affected as well.  Therefore, it is important that the treatment be done by a certified orthodontist.

We use high-tech braces Damon Brackets that use less friction, provide quick and gentle tooth movement, and are more comfortable for you!

We are certified Invisalign and Invisalign Teen Specialists who have years of experience with this wonderful technology.  Invisalign is a great alternative for non-growing individuals who need minimal to moderate tooth movement.  Come to see us and find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign.

No!  We are always happy to accept new patients.  Referrals from colleagues are welcome, but not a requirement.

If you have no immediate concerns then it isn't necessary to visit an orthodontist until your child is approximately 7 years of age.  However, if there are suspicions of a developing problem then it is beneficial to see an orthodontist at an earlier age so your child's oral health can be monitored.  Some alignment problems can be intercepted and either reduced in severity or eliminated if caught early.

Your first visit will include:

• A brief tour of our office
• Review of your medical and dental history
• Digital photos and a 3D image for immediate analysis (you will also be able to view these images at home by logging into "Patient Login" on our website)
• A comprehensive examination by one of our certified Orthodontists
• Whether orthodontic treatment would be beneficial either now or in the future
• What your specific treatment would involve and the approximate treatment time
• Our professional fees and flexible payment options
• Referrals to other dental specialists may be suggested in conjunction with orthodontic treatment
• You will receive a written summary outlining what was discussed at your visit and we will correspond with your general dentist as well

You will be able to get all of your questions answered so that you can make a well-informed decision. If you decide to proceed with treatment we can get the process started right away.

Orthodontic treatment can be uncomfortable because teeth are moving.  We use the latest high-tech braces, 'The Damon System' which allows quicker tooth movement with gentler forces and a great result!  Our team will keep you informed about what you can expect at each visit and give you tips to lessen the initial discomfort.  In no time, your teeth, cheeks, lips and tongue will get used to your braces and the discomfort will be gone.

Everyones' treatment is specific to their individual needs.  At your initial visit, we will present the professional fee for your proposed treatment and offer interest free flexible payment options. Many people carry orthodontic insurance, but as insurance policies vary, you should investigate your coverage prior to your initial visit. Our Financial Coordinator would be happy to assist you with the completion of your dental claim forms, however, due to the privacy legislation, we are not able to access your specific coverage. We will show you how to view your account and print your monthly orthodontic receipts on our secure online website.
